Jitendra Jorwal, born on 28 July 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2014 Punjab cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Special Secretary in the Excise and Taxation Department of Punjab since 20 August 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Taxation Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Administrator, Additional Deputy Commissioner & CEO, and Additional Commissioner (Excise). Jorwal is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
