Jayesh Ranjan, born on 25 September 1967, is a 1992 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Telangana cadre. He holds an M.A. and an M.B.A. Currently, he serves as the Special Officer at Telangana since 12 February 2026, working with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). His previous roles include Special Chief Secretary, Special Chief Secretary to Government & CEO of the Industry & Investment Cell in the Chief Minister's Office and SPEED, as well as Special Chief Secretary for Sports. He is proficient in Hindi and Telugu and continues to serve in the IAS.
