Jaydeb Dasgupta, born on December 7, 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 West Bengal cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, District Magistrate, and Additional District Magistrate. His most recent position was Project Officer in the Department of Primary Education from May 28, 2004, to December 31, 2005. Throughout his career, Dasgupta contributed to administrative functions within his cadre before retiring from service.
