Jayashree Mukherjee, born on 25 September 1962, is a retired IAS officer from the 1986 Maharashtra cadre. She holds a graduate degree and postgraduate degree in Political Science, along with an MBA in Business Administration. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Vice Chairperson, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, District Collector, Additional District Magistrate, Joint Registrar, and Sub-Divisional Officer. Her most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Information and Broadcasting Department of Maharashtra. She has contributed extensively to the administrative framework of the state during her tenure.
