Jayanti Lal Modi, born on 27 December 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 Rajasthan cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in Economics and History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Chairman, Commissioner, Secretary, Director (Census Operations), Deputy Secretary, Additional Commissioner, District Collector and District Magistrate, Settlement Commissioner, Additional Secretary, and Deputy Commissioner. His most recent position was Administrator at Jaipur, Rajasthan, from 8 May 2006 to 31 December 2007 in the Banking Department.
