Jayanta Kumar Ray, born on 27 October 1965, is a male Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, assigned to the A G M U T cadre. Currently serving as Secretary since 26 October 2023, he oversees departments including Health and Family Welfare, Women and Child Development, Co-operation, Social Welfare, and Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare. Additionally, he holds the positions of Chairman of PONCARE and Managing Director of PCSM in Puducherry. Jayanta Kumar Ray remains an active member of the Indian Administrative Service.
