Jasvinder Singh Rana, born on September 5, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1975 Gujarat cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Member (Finance), and Principal Secretary. His most recent role was Principal Secretary at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from April 6, 2008, to September 2, 2008, in the Department of Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, and Antyodaya (SEWA).
