Jaspreet Talwar, born on 13 February 1969, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Punjab cadre. She holds a B.Sc., LL.B., and LL.M. from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Currently, she serves as the Additional Chief Secretary at Punjab’s Planning Department since 3 March 2025. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Additional Chief Secretary cum Financial Commissioner, Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary, Joint Director, Deputy Director, Special Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Under Secretary, Additional Registrar, Chief Administrator, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate. She is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
