Janaki S Prasad, born on 28 November 1946, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Bihar cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Director and Deputy Development Commissioner. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Environment, Forests and Wildlife Department from 1 April 1997 to 8 October 1998. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administrative framework of Bihar before retiring from service.
