Jaiprakash Rai, born on 25 February 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics and a postgraduate degree in Marketing. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Officer, Project Officer, Additional Collector, District Collector, and Deputy Secretary. From 27 July 1993 to 26 July 1997, he was the Director in the Department of Tourism and Culture, Madhya Pradesh. His extensive administrative experience spans multiple roles within the state government before his retirement.
