Jai Shanker Misra, born on April 1, 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. A graduate in Civil Engineering, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, Excise Commissioner, and Managing Director. His notable roles include Chief Executive Officer of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department from December 6, 2010, to March 31, 2012. Throughout his career, Misra held multiple secretary-level positions and contributed to administrative functions across departments before retiring from service.
