Jai Ram Lal Meena, born on April 23, 1954, is a retired IAS officer from the 1980 Bihar cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in History. Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Commissioner and Secretary. His most recent role was Agricultural Production Commissioner in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department from January 31, 2014, to April 30, 2014. Meena also held positions such as Consultant, Adviser, Director, Deputy Secretary, and Under Secretary, contributing extensively to administrative functions within the Bihar cadre.
