Jai Prakash, born on July 5, 1948, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. During his career, he served as Special Secretary and Additional Land Reforms Commissioner. His most recent position was District Magistrate, a role he held from February 2, 2007, to July 31, 2008.
