Jagjit Singh, born on December 22, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 batch, Punjab cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Deputy Commissioner, Executive Director, and Joint Development Commissioner. His most recent position was Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, a role he held from March 1, 2002, to December 31, 2002. Throughout his career, Singh contributed to the administrative framework within Punjab before retiring from service.
