Jagdish Prasad Vimal, born on June 5, 1946, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 Rajasthan cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Geography and a graduate degree. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Executive Director, Additional Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, and District Collector and District Magistrate. His most recent posting was as District Collector and District Magistrate of Dholpur, Rajasthan, from May 8, 2006, to June 30, 2006.
