Jagdish Prasad Gupta, born on 23 June 1963, is a retired IAS officer from the 1993 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.Com and M.Com in Accountancy from the University of Rajasthan. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary, Managing Director, Divisional Commissioner, Commissioner, District Collector, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department, Mumbai, Maharashtra. He received awards for Election Duty, Republic Day Celebrations, and cultural events such as Gour Madia and Prakriti festival of Tribal Arts.
