Dr. Jagdip Narayan Singh, born on May 2, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Gujarat cadre. He served as Chief Secretary of Gujarat from May 1 to September 30, 2019. His extensive career includes roles such as Chairman & Managing Director, Additional Chief Secretary, Joint Secretary, Textile Commissioner, Secretary, Member (Finance), District Collector, and Assistant Collector. Dr. Singh holds postgraduate degrees in International Politics and Development Management, and a graduate degree in History. He is proficient in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
