Jagat Pal, born on July 7, 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Regional Food Controller, Additional Commissioner, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Director in the Social Welfare Department from July 1, 2002, to July 31, 2004. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administration of Uttar Pradesh before retiring from service.
