Jagan Nath Chamber, born on 15 May 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds degrees in Law (LL.B.), English (P.G.), and Business Administration (M.B.A.). Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, Transport Commissioner, and Managing Director. He held multiple Secretary and Principal Secretary roles, culminating as Secretary of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department from 26 November 2013 to 31 May 2014. His extensive administrative experience spans district, state, and departmental leadership positions.
