Jafar Malik, born on October 2, 1989, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2013 Kerala cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Humanities from Kota University. Currently, he serves as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Delhi, a position he assumed on August 19, 2024. Throughout his career, Malik has held various roles including Deputy Secretary, Executive Director, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Managing Director, Additional Director, Sub Collector, and Assistant Secretary. He is proficient in Hindi and Malayalam and continues to serve in the IAS.
