J Uma Maheswari, born on 15 October 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2000 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. She served in the Department of Higher Education and held the position of Joint Secretary Director at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, from 1 January 2013 to 31 October 2014. Her previous roles include District Collector and Under Secretary. Throughout her career, she contributed to various administrative capacities within the Tamil Nadu cadre before retiring from service.
