J S Venkateswara Prasad, born on 20 December 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Agriculture. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Collector, Secretary, Special Secretary, Principal Secretary, Director, and Additional Director General. He also held leadership roles such as Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Commissioner, and Executive Director. His most recent position was Special Chief Secretary in the Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, commencing on 16 July 2017.
