Dr. J Ravishankar, born on August 5, 1970, is a 2001 batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.D.S. degree and is currently serving as the Managing Director at Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited since July 18, 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary to Government, Managing Director, Director, Special Commissioner, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Sub Collector, and Assistant Commissioner.
