J P Koshlay, born on 13 July 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in Political Science and History, along with a graduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career in the Land Revenue department, he served in various capacities including Additional Commissioner, Project Officer, Settlement Officer, Assistant Commissioner, Under Secretary, Sub-Divisional Officer (Junior Scale), and Magistrate (City). His most recent position was Additional Commissioner at Madhya Pradesh from 1 August 1990 to 1 July 1993.
