J P Dange, born on June 1, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1973 Maharashtra cadre. He holds degrees in Law and Commerce, along with a Diploma in MSc Development Administration. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Chief Secretary to the Government, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Director, Managing Director, District Collector, and CEO. His most recent designation was Chairman at Maharashtra in the Finance Department. Mr. Dange's extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles across the state government.
