J P Chandeliya, born on March 13, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Rajasthan cadre. He holds an LL.B. in Law and a postgraduate degree in Commerce. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, Additional Commissioner, District Collector and District Magistrate, Managing Director, Director General, Divisional Commissioner, and Commissioner. His most recent role was Commissioner & Secretary at Jaipur, Rajasthan, in the Department of Information and Public Relations from January 7 to March 31, 2011.
