J N Sharma, born on February 2, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in English and a graduate degree in English Literature. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Collector, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Additional Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, and Director. His most recent position was Director in the Tribal Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh from October 1, 2001, to January 31, 2002. Mr. Sharma’s extensive service reflects his long-standing commitment to administrative roles within the Madhya Pradesh government.
