J N Dubey, born on 27 May 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He served in the Rural Development Department and held the position of Secretary from 1 June 1994 to 30 May 1996. Prior to this, he also served as Secretary and Joint Secretary in various capacities. Throughout his career, Dubey contributed to the administrative functions of the Uttar Pradesh cadre before retiring from service.
