J N Dave, born on November 12, 1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch, Gujarat cadre. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, District Development Officer, Officer on Special Duty to the Minister, and Deputy Commissioner. His most recent position was Deputy Secretary at Gujarat from June 1, 1991, to November 1, 1992. He was associated with the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment during his service.
