J J Vaishnav, born on 16 February 1931, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1974 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics. During his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, District Development Officer, and Project Administrator. His most recent position was Registrar at Gujarat from 1 April 1987 to 1 February 1989 in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department.
