J G Kanga, born on August 28, 1931, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1956 Maharashtra cadre. He holds graduate degrees in Law, Political Science, and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Commissioner, Managing Director, Controller, CEO, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Additional Secretary Equivalent. His most recent position was Additional Secretary Equivalent in the Commerce and Industry Department of Maharashtra. Mr. Kanga's extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the state government.
