J D Bhad, born on 17 April 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 Gujarat cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in Economics and Law (LL.B.). During his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, District Collector, District Magistrate, Registrar, CEO, Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner, and Additional Commissioner. His most recent position was Joint Secretary at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from September 2012 to April 2014. He was associated with the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
