J C Ghosh, born on July 2, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in the Science and Technology Department. His most recent position was Joint Secretary from April 1, 1995, to July 31, 1997. Prior to this, he held the role of Deputy Secretary. Throughout his career, he contributed to various administrative functions within his cadre and department.
