Indevar Pandey, born on 10 February 1964, is a 1988 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, an M.Tech. in Industrial Management, and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Birmingham. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Department of Women and Child Development, New Delhi, a position he assumed on 1 July 2021. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Adviser, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Magistrate, and Managing Director. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
