Inder Jit Singh, born on 17 August 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Kerala cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in Economics, an LL.B. in Law, and a Diploma in Banking. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary at the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Chairman, Additional Secretary, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Resident Commissioner, District Collector, and Managing Director. His most recent role was Secretary at New Delhi from February 2019 to August 2021. He has received a Certificate of Excellence, the President of India’s Census Silver Medal, and a Gold Medal for standing first in the LL.B. exam.
