Inder Jit Singh, born on 17 August 1961, is a retired IAS officer from the 1985 Kerala cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in Economics, an LL.B. in Law, and a Diploma in Banking. His distinguished career includes serving as Secretary at the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDONER), New Delhi, from February 2019 to August 2021. Throughout his service, he held numerous key positions such as Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, and District Collector. He has been honored with a Certificate of Excellence, the President of India's Census Silver Medal, and a Gold Medal for topping his LL.B. examination.
