I L Dawra, born on 31 December 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Punjab cadre. A graduate in English, he served in various capacities including Transport Commissioner, Executive Director, Commissioner, Joint Director, Additional Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Under Secretary, and Administrator. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Local Self Government Department from 1 September 1991 to 31 December 1993. Throughout his career, Dawra held multiple junior and senior scale roles, contributing to diverse administrative functions within the Punjab cadre.
