I B Pathak, born on July 11, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Bihar cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Social Sciences. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Officer, Under Secretary, Director (Junior Scale), Vice Chairperson, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department from April 1, 1992, to July 31, 1996.
