Hirdyesh Mohan, born on December 11, 1965, is a 1990 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Correctional Administration Department, West Bengal, since August 12, 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Sub Divisional Officer, District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Commissioner, Managing Director, Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Additional Chief Secretary. Proficient in English, Hindi, and Urdu, Hirdyesh Mohan continues to contribute to the Indian Administrative Service with extensive experience across multiple administrative roles.
