Himmat Singh, born on 24 August 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Punjab cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Officer, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Chief Executive, Chief Administrator, Director, Commissioner, Principal Resident Commissioner, and Member. His most recent position was Special Chief Secretary in the Horticulture Department from 14 August 2017 to 31 August 2017. Singh's extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Punjab cadre.
