Himanshu Khurana, an IAS officer of the 2015 batch from the Uttarakhand cadre, currently serves as Additional Secretary in the Forest Department of Uttarakhand since October 12, 2025. Born on May 6, 1992, he holds a B.A. Honours in Economics from Delhi University. His previous roles include Chief Development Officer, Joint Magistrate, Assistant Secretary, and CEO. He has been recognized with several awards, including the State Award for Best Electoral Practices (2022), Chief Minister's Excellence & Good Governance Award (2021-22), Hon'ble Governor's Outstanding District Magistrate Award (2022), and Chief Minister's Good Governance and Excellence Award (2018).
