Hemant Sharma, born on September 25, 1969, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1995 batch, Odisha cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary at Odisha in the Industries Department since January 2, 2026, Sharma has previously held positions including Principal Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary. He continues to contribute to the state's administrative functions with extensive experience in various senior roles.
