Hemant Kumar, born on April 28, 1985, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2013 batch, serving in the A G M U T cadre. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Portuguese from the University of Delhi and a B.A. in Law from the University of Law Delhi. Hemant has served as Special CEO (Under Suspension) and Assistant Secretary. Currently, he is awaiting posting for Andaman and Nicobar since January 5, 2026. He received the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration in 2019 for the Group Union Territories. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
