Harsh Vardhan, born on June 13, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Officer, Junior Scale, Deputy Secretary, Director, Joint Secretary, and Additional Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department from June 1, 1995, to June 30, 1996.
