Harjot Kaur Bamhrah, born on 11 May 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1992 Bihar cadre. She holds an M.A. in International Trade, an M.Phil. in International Studies from JNU New Delhi, and a PG Diploma in International Law from IAILD, New Delhi. Currently, she serves as the Additional Chief Secretary at the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Bihar, since 11 August 2025. Her extensive career includes roles such as Special Secretary, Chief Adviser, Secretary, Managing Director, Director, Chief Vigilance Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, Project Director, Joint Secretary, and Additional Commissioner.
