She is currently serving as Chairman-cum-Member, Revenue Council, Bihar since 11 August 2025. She holds an M.A. in International Trade, an M.Phil. in International Studies from JNU New Delhi, and a PG Diploma in International Law from IAILD, New Delhi. Her previous roles include Additional Chief Secretary, Chief Adviser, Secretary, Managing Director, Director, Chief Vigilance Officer, Deputy Secretary, Special Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, among others. She is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
