Dr. Hari Om, born on 15 July 1971, is a 1997 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds postgraduate and M.Phil. degrees in Hindi. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary in the Department of Vocational Education and Skill Development, Lucknow, since 2 January 2025. Throughout his career, Dr. Hari Om has held various positions including Secretary, Director, Special Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Joint Magistrate, and Assistant Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
