Haresh Chandra Patro, born on December 1, 1948, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1972 Gujarat cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Settlement Commissioner, Urban Land Tribunal Member Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, Director, District Magistrate, Municipal Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, District Development Officer, and Assistant Collector. His most recent role was Principal Secretary in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Textiles Department of Gujarat from October 14, 2004, to February 13, 2008.
