Hareet Shukla, born on 15 June 1976, is a 1999 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Textile Engineering from IIT Delhi, an M.A. in Economics, and a Master's in International Business. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary at Gujarat in the General Administration Department (ART&NRI) since 26 February 2026. His previous roles include Ex. Officio Principal Secretary to Government, Chief Electoral Officer for Gujarat, Principal Secretary, Secretary to Government, Commissioner, Managing Director, Director, Joint Secretary, District Collector, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
