During his career, he served in the Health and Family Welfare Department. His most recent designation was Joint Secretary, a position he held from July 1, 1997, to October 31, 1997. Prior to this, he held roles including Additional Deputy Commissioner and Joint Secretary. Throughout his service, he contributed to various administrative functions within his cadre until retirement.
