H Shivaramu, born on June 5, 1933, is a retired IAS officer from the 1980 batch of the Karnataka cadre. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Economics, along with graduate degrees in Law and Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, Special Officer, Commissioner, Special Deputy Commissioner, General Manager, Under Secretary, and Private Secretary. His most recent role was Director in the Information and Broadcasting Department from May 1, 1990, to June 1, 1991.
