H Shashidhar, born on 16 November 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Karnataka cadre. He holds graduate, postgraduate, and M.Phil. degrees in Geology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Inspector General, Secretary, Commissioner, Director, Joint Commissioner, and Deputy Secretary equivalent. His most recent position was Ombudsman at the State Electricity Regulatory Commission from 8 September 2010 to 30 November 2010.
